What should I do if I’m involved in an auto accident?
  1. First, stop your vehicle and move it to a safe place, out of traffic if at all possible.
  2. Check with passengers in all vehicles involved to determine if there are any injuries and call for medical assistance if needed.
  3. Call police – they will advise you if their response to the scene is not necessary.
  4. Do not admit fault to anyone as there could be multiple factors contributing to the accident that impacts how the insurer determines fault.
  5. Exchange information with the other driver(s) involved, including; names, addresses, phone numbers, drivers license #, make and model of vehicle along with any different name on the ownership, insurance policy information and a detailed description of damages.
  6. Note WHAT happened, HOW it happened, WHERE and WHEN it happened.
  7. If your vehicle needs to be towed, request that it be removed to a repair shop of your choice.
  8. As soon as possible, contact Axion or your insurance company to report the accident.
What should I do in the event of a homeowners or business related loss?
  1. Make reasonable and necessary repairs to protect your property from immediate further damage, keeping all receipts if applicable.
  2. As soon as possible, contact Axion or your insurance company to report the loss.
  3. Notify police if the loss involves theft, vandalism or any other suspected criminal act.
